The back of the phone holder is quite small and my phone does poke over the top but i have had no problems or occasions of my phone falling out

Very good can become flimsy but it doesnt require alot of effort to stabilise you just need to check it before you leave when you put your phone on and once its set correctly you can go over a huge pothole and your phone wont fall

I tried many phone holders and all managed to fail one way or the other

It does not fit the vents of a vw so doesnt actually work for me
