My favourite feature is the construction material of the goose neck itself there is enough length to articulate the neck around protruding dash features see pic and the material lends itself to smooth turns kind of like installing conduit pipe

This makes the dash look less cluttered from the drivers seat than a mount that sticks straight off the windshield would appear
