Don't let the brightness rating get you down, it's not a spotlight or flashlight, don't expect it to act like one. I usually have it turned off at this point and recharge in full sun so i can have ready for the night.

It blinks both with clear and red light. The latter are brighter, but these also have a red light feature, which makes for a nice beacon.

Wow, impressive product. Purchase for the red lite feature and works great. It has 3 levels to adjust.

Lasted one night and then after that recharges only lasted 30 minutes to an hour. Also, a full charge lasts less than 8 hours. Two of them dim so fast even though they are solar powered all day.

They are expensive and poorly constructed. That is annoying because you have to search for them with your finger.

Been using the light on monthly basis and now will not hold a charge. The light was stored on the windowsill while not in use and now nothing. After 3 successful uses the lantern no longer chargers and lights up.
