My kitty is obsessed with his little house. He still has some growing to do, but this looks like it will fit him once he's full size at 25 lbs and 14 inches high. They overlap by several inches, but cutting them was not needed.
Great product. Would recommend this product. This is perfect.
Cons
The poles that connect to each other to hold the frame open are too long for the small. Terrible qa on the manufacturer's part. I was gone for 30 minutes.

Quality
The only issue we had was getting it together - it took two of us to get the top poles to fit, but once together, very tight & sturdy.
This carrier holds a 50lb (max) pet and has amazingly spacious interior with a machine washable faux fleece insert.
Trying to stuff him into a conventional hard sided carrier thru the tiny door, has become too traumatic for both of us.
Two poles inside slip into each other (if i can do that anyone can) and carrier is ready to go.
