These are genius. They work incredibly well and no smudging. Plus i have carpal tunnel issues and they're easy to hold.

The color is really opaque so it covers the text, yet is so pale it doesn't draw attention. They're not useful for text marking at all. The original neon colors are the best ones. Can't read through them, very difficult to see small print.

My requirements and no to little bleed through, easy to apply, nice bright colors, and that it lasts and doesn’t smear.
005 pen for circling text or writing in your bible are the absolute perfect best solution to highlighting a bible.
These new pastel gel highlighters are wonderful: the colors are more vibrant, more choices, and they do not cover up the text.
If you use gel ink pens and then use these highlighters over them, it smudges the ink so bad you pretty much can't read it anymore.

It isn’t a problem, they work fine and it’s a great price plus all the color choices are really nice.

The older version was very waxy leaving a thick coat that made it impossible to see read the highlighted text
