I genuinely can't believe the price for it.

Compass is sturdy, holds position and includes an extra pencil (nice touch) and nice packaging.

Out of the package the compass comes perfectly set up and loaded with a perfectly sharpened pencil.

I can tell the designers and assemblers the packaging took their time and care with this.
