The mechanism for extending more pencil lead is very smooth & effective. It is a little heavier than expected, but well weighted and balanced. The shiny silver body is quite attractive in my pen roll.

The quality of the pencil appears to be very good, but lying about the lead thickness disqualifies the company's product from a better rating because of the dishonesty.

Pencil rattles even when tightly *. Tip is cricket not straight led keeps breaking. The tip (the actual tip of the pencil) has to be pounded back into place.

The eraser holder is insanely weak. The black leads make a faint mark on wood. I presume they would be ok for drawing on paper if your careful.
