The power cord is deliberately not fused in the plug because a fuse operating at near the rated capacity would run hot inside the close quarters of the plug

To confirm the plug is not fused the plug was opened and inspected and photographed to show the direct connections of the 12 awg conductor wires to the plug side contact spring leaves and spring loaded tip button

The rova would not fit into my cigarette lighter but with this extension the rova fits in the end of it so problem solved
