Food fits neatly between the fishes. Easy to clean with dry food and a bit of a hassle with wet food. Difficult to dry, though.

This is a much thicker plastic than i was anticipating and is nice and sturdy. Rubber grippers on the bottom and holds a lot more food than you would expect. Very durable plastic.

Vast improvement from daily * to several * daily. It forces her to work at getting the food so it slows down the actual consumption of food. They get fuller quicker so they are eating almost half of what they did before.

Fast/over-eater cat actually has to take his time eating, though after having it for a while he has realized how to up his eating speed. Lynxpoint who suffers from whisker fatigue loves these dishes so much he purrs while eating.

It’s also not deep enough to slow down eating. It's a half bowl with some tiny dolphins that do nothing to slow a dog from eating too fast.
