Pros & Cons
Pros
I have a cat that scarfs her food down like she hasn't eaten in days. My lynxpoint who suffers from whisker fatigue loves these dishes so much he purrs while eating.
This is a much thicker plastic than i was anticipating and is nice and sturdy. Rubber grippers on the bottom and holds a lot more food than you would expect. Very durable plastic.
Food fits neatly between the fishes. Easy to clean with dry food and a bit of a hassle with wet food. Difficult to dry, though.
They have to tilt their head between finishing the kibble in each section. It forces her to work at getting the food so it slows down the actual consumption of food. It gives her a little bit of a challenge pawing the bits onto the floor.
Cons
It's a half bowl with some tiny dolphins that do nothing to slow a dog from eating too fast.
Highlights
Quality
My cat was not trilled with the change, to say the least, but she’ll still use it.
Great quality and does a great job slowing down my cat when she eats!
I ordered the large plates and i could have sufficed with the small for my cats.
Shipping
Perfect for my cat that eats way too fast and then pukes.
One of my cats eats so fast that he would vomit shortly after eating.
Competitiveness
I've been using this for miss kitty's dry kibble.
