Highlights
Quality
This is a great product, and is just perfect for a high end gaming machine.
Super sturdy, looks awesome, and supports everything i needed on a mobo
8ghz with rock solid stability and the board doesn't even get past warm on the onboard heat sinks.
After adjusting the bios, i got my bootup time from off to login screen in about 5 seconds.
Price
Best mobo for the price by far.
Buy this if you are in the market for z170 gaming mobo and do not want to spend a fortune
For the price this is a great buy.
Great mobo for the price, good oc options, great stability, and good amount of features for the price, and still getting updates.
Shipping
Ordered in march of 2017 and the board i received had the kaby lake capable firmware.
My board shipped with the bios that let me do blck tweaking that is supposed to allow for non-k overclocking.
Packaging/appearance
Out of the box, it didn't boot with an i7-7700k.
Competitiveness
I highly recommend this product as well as every other msi product.
Overall, an excellent board from msi without breaking the bank.
The pci slots prevent card sag a bit better than its predecessors due to the better bonds to the pcb.
Also, the "mystic-light" as msi calls it, is alright.

The only issue i found is with a full size gpu gtx 1080 ftw the board is actually bending under the weight and with no way of putting anything under it for support without shorting the board im kinda not sure what to do about it

The motherboard is just barely not wide enough to reach the third column of mounting points in my case so you may want to get some highdensity foam or even just a tightlyfolded piece of paper to slide under the right side of the board so the right side is supported
