However just as the reviewers mentioned that 12th gen is power hungry the same is unfortunately true in the laptop parts as well

Upon benchmarking the laptop i ran into a few issues the laptop would hit thermal throttle almost instantly in heavy workloads

The msi software to turn the fans up has a very arbitrary set of restrictions so there is no way to run the laptop on a lower power mode but also turn the fans up at the same time

Therefore no matter which mode i selected the cpu would trend in the 100105c range as soon as any work was being done

This would cause clockspeeds to be backed off immediately leading to not the most wonderful performance

This laptop claims to be a content creation laptop well as a person who develops software i figured that i should try to do my actual work since most of what i do is nowhere near as heavy as content creation which i would imagine means video content

That would consist of editing rendering scrubbing etc
