This monitor is amazing in all aspects, especially for gaming and office work. The only cons the monitor has are its brightness and its color. Optix mag274qrf is one of the best monitors i have ever used. It has great screen brightness to adjust.
Some users complain about colors being oversaturated before calibration. They look just fine to me with no calibration. Amazing picture/video quality and a great refresh rate.
There's no smearing or ghosting, amazing color range, and 165hz. Hdr as usual is trash with windows but it is what it is. Playing the new new halo infinite or battlefield 2042 in 3440 res with 144hz and hdr enabled is a site to see.
Anti-glare in the screen is a game changer. Can't go wrong with the joystick menu on the back of the monitor. Lots of options and presets to choose from or mess with.
I wish msi or amazon can handle the shipping and packaging more carefully next time. Loving it. Definitely do not regret this purchase.

I got this monitor to play high refresh rate 1440p on my new rtx3080, and it does that job astoundingly on doom and elden ring.
Packaging/appearance
The msi gaming osd is easy to use to modify the screen without having to use physical buttons on the screen.
The only caveat is that there is no control for the led light on the back of the screen.
Yes, when snapping windows to each of the halves of the screen, you kind of get two 4:3 windows, but it will work.
Competitiveness
I would highly recommend purchasing this monitor especially if you want a high grad g-sync compatible monitor.
My other monitor is a 144hz 1080p hp25mx.
Full 165hz at 2k, though there isn't a 144hz mode which is a little bit unfortunate.

Just dont expect the rgb lighting on the back to light up the wall behind it because its pretty faint

Va panel has decent colors not real life as on good ips panels but refresh rate is high no issues with gsync and the overall image quality in gaming leaves little to desire
