There's no smearing or ghosting. The 144 refresh rate along with the 1ms response rate is already worth the price.

Some users complain about colors being oversaturated before calibration. They look just fine to me with no calibration.

I wish msi or amazon can handle the shipping and packaging more carefully next time. Loving it. Definitely do not regret this purchase.

The monitor also has great adjustability. Some monitors only have tilt/swivel, but i really wanted height adjustment. The stand is also quite a reasonable footprint for a monitor of this size.

Cons

There is terrible amounts of ghosting and black smearing on this monitor and no amount of settings will fix it. Dead pixel nearly in the center of the screen.

It is fast, responsive and has an insane color range.

Gigabyte's monitor also had this option, but it did not work as well, was slow and felt very clunky.

I wish msi or amazon can handle the shipping and packaging more carefully next time.

I'll also say i was able to get this with one day shipping where as the m27q was going to take 8 days on amazon.

The msi gaming osd is easy to use to modify the screen without having to use physical buttons on the screen.

The only caveat is that there is no control for the led light on the back of the screen.

Yes, when snapping windows to each of the halves of the screen, you kind of get two 4:3 windows, but it will work.

Competitiveness

I would highly recommend purchasing this monitor especially if you want a high grad g-sync compatible monitor.

Even though the msi is only gsync compatible, it performs flawless, just as if it has the actual gsync module.

Assuming you're looking for a 1440p165hz 27in.

My other monitor is a 144hz 1080p hp25mx.
