Intel i7-6850k, 32gb g. Skill x99a sli krait. Wifi connects at full 867 mbps speeds. If using high memory capacities increase the memory controller voltage. My i7 6850k does 4. Ghz at 1. Ghz and 2600mhz on the memory.

Running a samsung 960 pro nvme ssd. Msi software comes with a ramdisk creation option. Also using raid 0 3 2tb hd windows 10 pro 64 bit. Gb gskill ram running at ddr4 3400 cas 15.

Cons

It's doable but it's a bit of a jury rig - which i don't prefer. The electrical setup of this board is just weird.

Rma request 5 days ago and still not a word from msi. Msi rma process is painfully slow. Going to have to send motherboard#3 back to amazon.

This is completely uncalled for.

Msi's response to this reload the os. The motherboard was stuck at debug code 00. When restarted it dropped to 1.

Resulted in my retiring my sandy lake e 3930k build and upgrading to broadwell e.

Overclocking, the bios, the looks and feel, all far outweigh anything gigabyte could offer.

This is an awesome board and very lucky to have snagged it at $330.

Got this on the january sale for 40% off.

But the most positive thing is i landed this board on an amazon warehouse deal for 300$.

Packaging/appearance

***pros***its well packaged with alot of accessories, overclocking software with motherboard did a great job with my ram and cpu.

It came with it's original packaging and as i can tell everything that should be in the packaging.

Competitiveness

***cons***bios dont have alot of options compared to asus boards.

The broadwell e chips are poor overclockers unlike the sandy lake e chips.
