Pros & Cons
Pros
This is my first curved gaming monitor, as well as my first monitor that goes all the way to 165hz refresh rate. No dead pixels or backlight leak. Games look good but requires osd tweaking and setting gamma to ~2.
Highlights
Quality
I was shocked that the phillips price jumped to $210 and this one was $229 with the 1ms refresh rate and 165hz.
You will only get 60hz with the hdmi cable.
Price
Price is unbeatable for what you get.
, and at that price, im honestly kicking myself for not gettting a second of these amazing monitors when i boughgt the first one.
+ tax -5% discovercard cash back price, pick up only.
Competitiveness
There's an excellent review of this monitor on tom's hardware's website and an article on how to run nvidia's g-sync on a freesync monitor.
If msi is advertising this as a 165hz capable monitor then they should include a displayport cable with the monitor.

The only drawback if you could even call it that is that the footprint for the included supportstand is incradibly large even if the legs themselves are very thin
