A note for other buyers the keyboard layout is us not uk so keys in the incorrect position this is noted in the product description but to bring to it attention as i had missed this

First off a slight gripe i didnt realise but should have as it was stated in the description that this was a us english keyboard

I wont hold that against the buyer similarly i had to do some tweaking of the language settings to get cortana working

The rgb backlit keyboard is a nice touch though it doesnt give you complete freedom to define areas of colour instead the keyboard is divided into three sectors each of which can be given a custom rgb value

As far as i can tell it also always starts red when booting up and doesnt adopt the custom colour until the software loads which is slightly disappointing

In general the keys and touchpad which features a slightly texturised surface feel good i was concerned by the fact that the space bar tended to squeak but this worked itself out after about a week

The provided copy of windows 10 seems a little quirky it initially refused to open the users settings presenting instead the grey screen of annoyance and edge which i had no intention of using but still crashed repeatedly and seemed incapable of opening pdfs

It also didnt seem to want to update
