The screen is very good im picky with screens as i do a lot of photoshop and my desktop screen is a £700 ips 2560x1440

I like the keyboard good for a lappy and i usually use a £150 mechanical with my main pc and the trackpad is also ok i dislike them and alway use a multi button gaming mouse

Previous generation gaming laptops were to put it mildly rubbish unless you bought the top tier gpus which for the last gen was the 970 and 980

Excepting the high end you got a very cut down gpu that bore little resemblance to the desktop version other than name

This has changed with the gtx10 series and even the midlevel gtx1060 is now close to the desktop version
