You will find better graphics cards and better build quality if you are willing to spend another $300 or so.
Price
Great specs for the discounted price i got it at on prime day.
For me i will never push this in gaming so the extra cost is not worth it.
Even if cost is not a consideration it is a really nice machine and has specs i have seen costing at least double.
The screen is really nice no corners cut for the cost!

Look at how well ms signature pc's sell even at a higher price because we hate pre-loaded unwanted software!
I am leaving it for now but a gaming laptop should not have a 256gb drive partitioned.
I would recommend you stay away from anything older than skylake for sure so make sure it says 6th gen or number starts with 6.
