Pros

The power supply itself is very quiet and durable. No coil whine or noises.

Cables are removable, that is, modular. Flat cables are such a good upgrade over my old mustard and ketchup psu's bundled wires.

One of the best features of msi is that they use factory seal stickers that can only be removed once on all of their hardware. When buying from online/ box stores that sometimes will not admit that they resell returned items which they sometimes do.

Cons

After i replaced this msi power supply for another one that was rated for 950w, all is well. I'm confident this power supply is ok, just not for high-end gaming.

The length and stiffness of the cables negates any gain of the modularity feture. Some of the metal pins inside the connectors are not even inside the cables, so functionally useless. The flat stiff ribbon cables are a nightmare.

The pc i'm working with is from 2012 so it had a 4 pin connector on the motherboard and there was no 4 pin cable supplied.

Price

No complains it works perfectly but don't buy unless it's at 90 usd o lower

The psu is also very well packaged and the cables even come with a handy bag to keep them together.
