Managed to get to 2800mhz, stable. Linux mint 20. Gigabyte works fine. Booted up with no problems.

This is a fantastic motherboard for novice techies, that is great for mid-level gaming. Performance at an affordable cost. Super fast and responsive customer service.

Cons

The mobo is plagued with the amd usb disconnect issues. Usually happens after reboots of after comming out of sleep. Put the cpu back in and nothing. Go for an asus board or get an external controller.

This is hugely disappointing. Don't waste your money on msi. It's not even worth rma'ing. The website is kind of lame for that. Really just abysmal.

Mystic light is not a standalone software. It *, why would you add argb capabilities with such a basic controller, generic effects and something as simple as 2 static colors? Kind of, only with a couple of effects.

I got this mobo with a ryzen 7 5800x and the bios on the mother board as shipped are not compatible with that particular cpu .

The unit i received was apparently used or refurbished at one point, despite the listing and order saying new.
