Pros

Reviewer says he is very pleased with the z690. He says it is well-built, has tons of i. App, and performs well.

This board is hands down the best board for the price. Board looks good and minimalist as well. My ddr5 4800 is a kingston fury 32gb kit (2x16gb) pros:- no issues installing- ddr4- 4x m.

The rog bios is super easy to work with. Works well with linux (fedora 36) as dual-boot. I believe they're the only oem including a (16gb) usb drive instead of a (useless) driver disc.

The system works flawlessly. No wiring mess, easy access. Most of the problems are minor annoyance.

Nice wireless antennas for the back. There should be a universal connector for those.

Cons

Orbi wi-fi mesh system has worked flawlessly on all my devices for many years but for the first time ever it won’t work with this board. Overclocking capabilities for the cpu and the ram are both awful. Bad qa/qc on them.

After all the connections were made and all of the fans were installed we crossed our fingers and hit the power switch.

Update 2022-06-12: after using this for a couple weeks, the wifi integration on this mobo has proved to be pretty bad in my case.

I got this motherboard on sale for a great price and it has been a flawless experience.

This board is hands down the best board for the price.

In this price there isnt a single better board

It came well packaged, easy to install, and has a nice bios page.

Wish there were detailed instructions in the box, however everything can be found online.

It's a little more expensive than some of the other z690 motherboards, but it's well built, has all the i.
