Highlights
Quality
This monitor is fantastic for that need: very clear picture, very smooth images (when measured at 960fps super-high-speed video recording).
I wanted this monitor for general purpose/varied use and so far it seems great with superb image quality and refresh rate.

Price
This monitor is awesome for that and such an upgrade from my qhd ultrawide and was only ~$150 more.
One of the most inexpensive feature loaded 4k monitors you can find out in the market.
If you are looking for a 32" monitor that is 4k,120hz+ and under $700, stop looking, this is the one.
Well worth it if you get it when it’s on sale.
Competitiveness
Also, the 600 nits of brightness provides a decent compromise for the contrast limitations of ips.

That said there are some limitations that could be detriments for other users1 despite the images making it look like it has a miniscule sidetop bezel it actually has a large gap between where the screen ends and the bezel begins

I found this to be a bit of misleading advertising though the disappointment was ultimately just cosmetic for me since im not using a multimonitor setup

It doesnt bother me because i use the monitor in a well lit room and sit far enough away that the angles arent bothersome but looking down at it from above the whole monitor is washed out and the local dimming effect is very visible on the bottom of the monitor when you have a lightondark environment ie mouse cursor over black background

I didnt try any 3rd party dp or hdmi cables but this could be a limit for someone using a video source that only has hdmi output
