Quality

This psu has a very good build quality.

I love the performance of this psu is very quiet and responsive, the wires are good quality.

The combs are pretty bad quality and i replaced those as well.

After upgrading from a 650w psu, after 5 years of use it started showing its decay.

Price

No issues with it what so ever, plus i got it for about 130$ under what it was going for all and all i'm happy with it.

Amazing psu for the price; especially when on sale.

The price is worth it for this psu.

For $360 before tax, a pwm fan is not too much to ask for.

Shipping

Though it took a while, they sent me a new power supply that has been working well for me so far.

I had to send it twice to asus rma .

I contacted msi, they had me send my power supply in for rma service, and they covered shipping.

Packaging/appearance

Packaged nicely, operates quietly, modular, easy to install with a plethora of cables.

I liked the way it looked and i took a risk on a open box product from amazon, thing was like brand new.

As far as psu's go, it's a nice-looking box, other than that damn sticker.

Competitiveness

Msi is one of the few companies innovating in the power supply space, definitely a solid contender.

This is the 1300w with the 600w cable that connects to the new 40 series graphic cards from invida.

This psu was about $140 more than the bequite 1200w i originally bought.

I have been a tech 20+ years and always used the same 2 brands before, so i was a bit nervous trying a new brand of psu.

The main drawback reviews and other owners seem to mention is the fan noise but from my experience this isnt an issue under real world operating conditions

My system with a ryzen 7600x and a 4090 draws 670 watts while running gpu cpu torture tests and the fan did not turn on until the unit reached almost 70c and at that under 900rpm which wasnt really audible over my other components running at full tilt
