For all the canadian folks out there this item was shipped via fedex and there seemed to be a disconnect as to how to pick this item up

Initially i was told by fedex customer service i would have to wait for an email from fedex to pay the provincial tax on the item after which fedex would “deliver” the package

The process is actually1 package arrives in your hub2you go to the shipping center and receive documentation from fedex to bring to cbsa3 go to cbsa office with paper work and pay applicable taxes cbsa officer stamps your paperwork and will clear the package for pick up

A quick side note too fedex may offer to handle the brokerage for you liasing with cbsa on you behalf however i am told it can take weeks for the package to be released if you choose this method as you are now on someone else’s watch for the whole process
