Highlights
Quality
I won't waste your time, it plain and simply is a very sturdy and high quality fully modular power supply.
That makes this a great psu for any clean build.
Thankfully it was a good corsair psu so it just turned off power to the whole system instead of frying my rig.
Its a modular so beware they are "less" reliable than non modular due to 2x the fail points vs non modular.
Price
Really good bang for the buck for a 1000w psu.
Great deal on amazon used, good discounts and item works well, getting this for pcie 5 atx 3.
Packaging/appearance
The psu was well protected inside with foam packaging.
The psu came with minor dings on the outside package.
All of the cables come in a nice looking black bag.
Competitiveness
A few days later i bought an "a850gl" and it got confusing to me how the models are different (a850gl vs a850g).
Same price same wattage i would get evga as they are just a bit better quality on the cables.

Msi doesn’t do a very good job of explaining the two units i think it has to do with capacitor construction or sourcing internal components
