Pros

Validate any ssd's and hard drives are visible to the bios. The f7 toggle thing in the bios with the uefi/cms makes this a little more awkward, but i'd rather have the options than not. The b550 is fast to handle high throughput, and the included soft... Read More

The tomahawk has a 6 layer pcb, which makes many soldering points stronger. My only functional complaint is that my sys fan 2 haeder will not deliver pwm control. It's fine in dc mode, but i just moved the fan to an unused header.

For the price the features and compatibility with my other components make this a great purchase. Msi builds quality motherboards, so that was a given. B550 gaming edge is really great borad.

Wi-fi and wifi/bluetooth works well. Realtek audio console can be used to fine tune the sound.

Msi mystic light is cool. There's a little rgb on the board which can be controlled in mystic light, along with rgb ram and other components/peripherals. Black/silver motif with minimal rgb lighting is a huge plus.

The b550 chipset is perfect for the new ryzen 5000s (for my purposes).
