While it is expensive, the performance you can squeeze out of it is worth every penny.
Three years ago i paid£268 for mine, brand new from amazon, now , new they are £429 , absolutely ridiculous.
Decent price for a second hand card.

Zero coil whine, unlike many many competitors.
I do recommend going for a newer generation gpu now tho as the price to performance is better with those.
I've recently borrowed my sons nvidia gtx 1060 6gb card to see if that helps and surprisingly the 970 is better !

I dont really want to spend another £500600 on a graphics card just so i can play on high settings
