Working class tech lover says yes! This monitor is my very first gaming monitor i have ever bought. No issues changing the refresh rate to 164.

Freesync works no problems with my rtx 3080 so no screen tearing. The on screen menu is relatively easy to operate due to the joystick input. Some monitors out there have really poor osds which makes them difficult to configure.

Overall color, brightness, and contrast is amazing after calibration. The image is fantastic. Crisp, clean and very easy to set up and put together.

R curve is just right imo for flight sims like dcs if you only have one monitor. Great stand compared to msi's previous model for ergonomics. The 1000r curved makes it easier on the eyes after a long day at working.

Cons

The real bummer is that i just noticed dead pixels in the upper right corner today. The mw2 logo looks fuzzy the way it would on an old box tv. Another damaged pixel a few hours later.

I’d say this is a monitor worth skipping. But for personal use, it's disgusting. It's way better, imo.

The plastic corners are not square, therefore there is a gap between the screen and the plastics.

Competitiveness

This is a great gaming monitor for ps5 users!

I'm anxiously waiting to play modern warfare ii at 1440p 120 hz on the msi g273qpf later this year.

There are many other good 1440p 144hz+ monitors out there, some as low as $250.
