The 2020 hot curved wide screen monitor is a samsung g series if youtube reviews are anything to go by. It's a budget 165 screen that is awesome. Ps this is also a hdr 400 screen, something which i saw conflicting reviews on stating that it wasn't.

Packaging/appearance
My personal laptop is on it's side under the table to my left that the duronic stand is clamped to so i don't need to have it out at all.
Competitiveness
After spending an age researching the various ultrawides available i decided to go for this one.
It's the same height as a standard 28in screen, but much wider, the form works perfectly.
It also had to be under 8kg (monitor arm limitation) and support 1920 x 1080 as a minimum.
While i was still considering the kvm option, i purchased a ugreen usb 3.

It might be i didnt configure it properly but the preset for fps doesnt seems all right due to lack of color instead i use racing preset

I had recently purchased a gigabyte 27 fhd curved gaming monitor and realised that 1080p couldnt really be handled well on that monitor so i returned it and decided to check out some other 27 fhd monitors

The other thing that surprised me is the lighting colour schemes which just for clarity you can turn off really easily in the screens menu without installing the mci controller software

Just make sure you’re willing to spend £200 on a screen much smaller than a tv you could get at a similar price

Much faster response than a tv however so i would only recommend for gaming and not casual streaming and tv watching
