Pros

Screen is decent, matte finish. After a week received a few light scratches with gentle use. Battery life is actually not bad.

Nice and compact. Fits in my backpack. The only downside is it gets quite hot. But c'mon i rarely.

Cons

This laptop is a lemon. The fingerprint sensor does not work consistently. It's very lightweight. And lastly, probably due to the material the laptop is made of there are a lot of fingerprints all over it which are very visible.

It freezes up sometimes and i have to do a hard shut-down. The laptop overheats almost immediately under such a task. And their tech support is nonexistent. It was defective when it came out of the box.

It's a sacrifice i'm willing to make for weight and price.

Purchased on amazon day so havent had it long but is fast and does what it should

I did have to pay for shipping to msi, but they paid return shipping.

Packaging/appearance

Was a steal with prime day deal with good internal components.

Competitiveness

It won't compete with high-end nvidia and amd discrete gpus for gaming, but, for everything else, it is more than adequate.

Graphics performance is comparable to a previous generation laptop a family member uses that has an nvidia 960m gpu.

Well they like are less than sub-par.

I've been using one of these for about a year now, same as this amazon model except with 32g ram and a 1tb ssd (costco's in-house model).
