Pros

Great for the home office setup or a small business. Very compact design, fits well on desk. Easy to hide & perfect for what i want to do outside my home office.

Msi's i3-12100 is a 4 core, 4c/8t desktop cpu. Can run linux at up to 64 gb/s and can be upgraded to a i5 12700.

Intel has made some real strides in getting their graphics on par with nvidia and amd's offerings, and i'm favorably impressed. See my demo video for genshin impact at 1080p lowest setting.

It's a snug fit, but not anything that's hard to do. I like the fact that it has a full sized fan and that fan is pretty much silent. If you have this on top of your desk in a very quiet room you can kind of hear the coils doing their thing.

Price

I ended up seeing this unit on sale and i have to say i've very happy with it.

Highly recommend if you need an affordable pc for kids and some light office work.

- price is not cheap but given the performance, i consider it reasonable.

Fair price good basic performance, lots of ports.

Shipping

Msi was down on the day i was having this problem.

Within 5 minutes, customer service got back with me to let me know the cords were to attach additional drives, etc.

Packaging/appearance

If nothing else, the packaging allows for a thermal solution that's capable of handling a "normal" tdp desktop cpu.

I took a bunch of pictures of it inside and out as well as the package contents.

I was intimidated by the extra cords that came in the box so i put in a work order to ask about them.

Competitiveness

It seems intel has made some real strides in getting their graphics on par with nvidia and amd's offerings, and i'm favorably impressed!

The msi is different, though, meaning to handle the same problem, but with (theoretically) fewer tradeoffs.
