Great motherboard especially for the low price, i also like the bios on this msi board.

At this point, if you have decent ddr4 ram, and $550, this with a 12600k would be a killer budget setup.

For the price point it is acceptable

First of all, affordable motherboards start at $200, which doesn't seem very affordable.

My 12600k and 12700k arrive in a few days and then the cooler brackets a few days after that.

A new one was issued quickly as i sent the damaged one back.

Packaging/appearance

The first thing i notice when i open the box is that it's kinda sticky, i don't know what's causing that, but no marks of any liquid in it.

Competitiveness

The z690 version is no different and looks almost identical to the z590.

In addition, affordable boards of all brands have their own limitations and problems.

I considered the higher 12700k but settled on the better price performance balance of the 12600k.
