Pros & Cons
Pros
The mobile app and desktop interface to adjust settings is very modern and easy to use. The software is a little wonky but it's usable at this point. Beside phone app, it has web ui, and msi program available for detail setup.
Reviewer says it's "functionally it gets the job done. An affordable price. Speed is excellent and the range is relatively good. Overall very happy with the purchase.
The game accelerator keeps my gaming sessions lag-free, making it perfect for gamers. The gbps wan/lan port matches perfectly with my hitron coda56. Bufferbloat is excellent.
Mystic light syncs rgb lights with my other msi products, adding a stylish touch to my setup. Just a note that the antennas is not removeable, so you have to be careful when setting it up. Love the rgb setting with ai/gaming/streaming.
Cons
This router is like having a lamborghini that you can only drive at 65mph. It's beautiful, but pretty much useless. Even poorer performance on my rear patio.
One major letdown is the absence of dd-wrt support. Once in ap mode, the static lan ip setting has no field for a default gateway to be set.
Highlights
Quality
Very impressed with the range and the speed is the 6ghz band.
Smart prioritization: ai qos ensures smooth performance for all devices in my home, no matter what i'm doing.

Price
If you have the money to spend and you think it looks good, i would say this is an excellent purchase!
On top of that, it was on sale.
Packaging/appearance
Got my router in because i liked the look of it (rgb antennae was a big attractor).
Competitiveness
2g range is much better than my trustworthy nighthawk s4x.
I have been getting great speeds throughout the house, more than my old cheaper router, and better yet it's wifi 6.
I am future proofing with the wifi 6e compatibility, since i'm sure wifi 7 won't be stable at launch.
I recommend it if you've got gigabit or higher internet speeds, otherwise this would be overkill.

The downside however is that at 5ghz which is what most devices use currently it has only 2 streams and speeds are fairly mediocre
