Pros

This is the cheapest option to get your old mac pro able to update to mojave. This is still an upgrade from the stock card which has 1gb ram. I'm unsure as to what the issue is, but this card handles everything i throw at it at ultra settings.

Overall i'm satisfied with it until gpu prices come back down out of the stratosphere. Great bang for your buck. A big thank you to the seller.

Fast render times in blender 2. That is perfectly understandable with the stock fans. Performance isn't spectacular, but it's good for what it is.

Cons

The seller sold me a faulty product is what it seems. I plan to pursue this further to at least make sure the seller isn't still out there scamming others.

My support nightmare. The card is at the end of its lifespan. Have you been deceived by you?

Quality

Geart card runs beautifully no problem with the install and runs fantastic paired with 16gb ddr3 1600mzh ram and a amd fx 4300 processor.

If you are looking for a middle of the road graphics card on a budget, i would recommend this product!

That is perfectly understandable with the stock fans that came on it.

If it were a hardware issue with the card itself, i don't think it would play games at all, or function as it has been.

I wanted a low cost option to add metal support to a mac pro 5,1 to allow me to install mojave.

Packaging/appearance

I love this graphics card, it came in proper packaging and works as expected on my linux machine.

Competitiveness

Works perfectly and imo better than radeon gfx by far

Can’t beat the performance for the price.

Used this in my wife’s pc build and no problems, the radeon software isn’t as good as nvidia control panel
