When the heatsink starts to seem saturated, cpu idles around 45-50*c. Max temp in cinebench r23 79c, while gaming 55-65c. Gaming and streaming even with the settings cranked keeps the processor nice and cool.

Yes, if upgrading from stock cooler, or looking for a quiet option. The best thing about this cooler over the wraith prism is the lack of fan noise. Noise levels are very quiet, almost unnoticeable.

The heatsink itself is good looking, but mounting system is kind of ridiculous with one screw hole being inside the heatsink. The installation directions are good enough, but do not have a text description of the installation process.

A beast of a air cooler at an affordable price.
A great cooler at a great price, i highly recommend.
I wasn't going to pay an extra ten bucks for something that should already be included, so i got the rev.
The price you pay for the performance offered is fantastic.
Shipping
The first one i ordered came pretty bent in the corner and scythe had a replacement shipped within 24 hours.
Packaging/appearance
The packaging is nice, comes with a quality phillips head screw driver.
This packaging was clearly not enough to prevent damage during shipping.
The heat sink was just wrapped in a thin piece of foam and thrown in the box.
Competitiveness
It cooled my cpu better than liquid cooling ( which cost so much money, and this did an excellent job in comparison).
