The uppers are like a wool sock and breathable so your feet won't get sweaty. The soles are a soft synthetic fabric which has acceptable grip and is completely silent. The ankles are nice and snug and thick too.

I really hate to complain, but these slippers are not worth the money. They are cheaply made and there is no customer support. Seems to be a common problem with these mocs according to other buyers' ratings.
