This stud finder is pretty legit. It works nicely and is great value for the price. Plastic is smooth and feels nice.
Was a bit finicky but did the job. Bought as a stocking stuffer foe my husband.

A/c voltage was only detected within 1/2 (12mm) it turns on and seems to function great, until you reset it. I wanted to detect electric wires in my wall and even around an outlet, where i know the wire runs, it says there is no wire. When i move it a... Read More
Truly disgustingly amazing to receive instructions of such ridiculous quality. Not dependable. Poor setup. Maybe * poor quality control.

Works perfect, have used it on every setting and it has worked perfect for me.
Works great and shows the middle of the wall stud.
Fond the studs, and warned me of a hot wire.
If it doesn't light at all after the initial scan, start over on a different part of the wall that you think there is no stud.

For the price this really is your best buy.
It's exactly what i wanted/needed and the price was right
But for this price, i won't ask for more.

After opening the box the stud finder was wrapped in a large bubble wrap pouch with a set of fairly easy to read instructions and a batterywas fairly surprised nothing includes these anymore after inserting the batter and clicking the on button the stud finder led turned on

I looked for ac wiring where i knew there were wiring and it showed no indications of wiring behind the drywall
