Pros & Cons
Pros
This banjo is constructed of maple body and neck. Overall craftsmanship is very good. I am a beginner and feel it will be perfect for now and well into the future as i get more proficient.
It is louder than a ukulele, even with the same strings. The sound produced is resonant and snappy as one would expect from a banjo.
Cons
This is cheap and does not come with any instructions.
Highlights
Quality
After ordering the travel size and the full size open back i’m very happy with the quality of both!
The fingerboard is ebony and overall quality and playability is very good for beginners and experienced players.
Better quality than i suspected, needs further setup, but not bad.
I usually tune before i play, so i’ve never noticed a problem with the tuning falling flat.
Price
Doesn't seem cheaply made, but the price was perfect.
Competitiveness
As a novice, i found the banjo difficult to tune.
