Pros

The sound that comes from this banjo is great, and far better than the amount that you pay for. Overall craftsmanship is very good. The fingerboard is ebony.

The tuners are a bit lack luster, but completely sufficient, and have had no problems with slippage. Put the battery in the tuner, look up banjo tuning and tune it up. The tuning machines hold well.

The only assembly required is installation of the bridge. Just make small adjustments carefully and meticulously. There is a plastic measuring piece that sits on the neck.

Cons

This is cheap and does not come with any instructions.

I've been playing for a while and bought this inexpensive banjo for travel.

For this price i knew they'd be junk.

I didn't want to spend a lot of money on this since i didn't know for sure if i would really enjoy it.

For the money it is excellent value.
