The sipping straw is flexible, so just push a soapy q-tip through to deal with any mildew issues. Ehh it's great for the price.

A toothpick fits nicely through the little air vent. If the lid is open and it falls over it will leak a little but other than that these cups are perfect. No leaks if you don't put it together correctly and tight, but that's not often. The cup closes... Read More

Cons

Water leaks from the air hole vent behind the straw, and unless you have a dishwasher good luck getting it clean. Even when using it in a high chair, if my baby tilts it all, water drips out. It leaks with the lid open and closed.

This is the first review i've ever left on anything, if that lets you know how frustrating it was. It has some serious design flaws, though. Its design is dangerous.

Yes it can leak with the top open but as soon as they are done drinking, you close the top and it does not leak at all!
