Love this gate unfortunately when i received it there was a plastic piece that cracked off the bottom the gate is still functional n didn’t have time to return it for another one so hopefully it lasts me awhile

I tried putting it in our hall but the base board leaves an uneven surface and the gate will not work

Its hard to explain but the arm isnt like normal tension gates

It kind of gives you a little bit of release of tension by making the bar a bit shorter when you pull up on it but then it pops back into the same location when you put it back

The webbing is hard plastic with little circular piercings

As others have noted its not all steel but the frame is and the rest is a pretty functional plastic
