Pros

Blue collar hard working smells like i've been used to my whole roughneck life. Nicely scented and easy to apply.

Holds well against wind and brief submersion of water. It's got a hold on the firmer end of medium. Pretty solid hold for a medium handlebar'stache.

Mountaineer is the real deal. The wax is amazing. Blessings all. Thank you very much for making your great product here in the united states.

Cons

Ah… no way. Imo, skip it. Wanted to like it, but nope.

It feels like there is almost no bee's wax in the product, or that the base is lanolin. The beard balm has better longevity and hold than this wax. One of these cans is clearly 60 grams of wax.

The scent is fine, but it has very little holding power on my beard and mustache. It smells like vicks vapor rub. While it is perfumeless it's not really scentless, since it's candle wax.

It's like rubbing a candle to try to get some wax off of it. Needed a knife not a finger to remove small amount. Rubbed fingers together to warm but only made chunks. Had to put on a hotplate to melt and use.

This new formula doesn’t hold and the coloring on the mustache doesn’t work.

It does not take away from the quality of this product in any way, shape or form!

Was really hopeful with the cost and the fact that it doesn't have pine rosin/resin in it as i think i may have a mild allergy to it.
