Ill get the bad out of the way first it took me way longer to get these bulbs working on my network than i would have liked

I had no problem getting the bulb into fast flashing mode but every time i tried to get the bulb to connect the app gave me an error after a few minutes wait

I was completely unable to try to connect the bulb in ap mode using this same lamp because i was never able to get the bulb to flash slowly

I tried the second bulb in a different lamp and was able to get it to flash slowly and connect in the app though the instructions about connecting to the smartlife network and then going back to the app werent clear to me

I therefore moved the bulb from the other lamp to the lamp with which i had success but i still couldnt get that bulb to flash slowly

Part of the problem i think is that the lamps switch controls three bulbs so it requires clicking the switch several times to rotate through the various settings

If you already have the smart life phone app you can have it up and going in a minute
