If you use a flat diffuser it will not be as bright plus you can see the leds more

Its also crucial that you have it fit properly in the thin part of the channel that holds the strip perfectly

It just would not work for our application

We returned the item but would purchase again if a project arises with regular nonwaterproofed strip lights

I wasnt expecting it to be as these govee strips only have 30 leds per meter
