Strong stainless steel 1/8” cable is coated with vinyl to be safe and soft to the touch.
Ran 105ft overhead and no stretching or odd spiraling, etc from the vinyl wrap - definitely (on first impression) a quality cable
The core is stainless steel so it wont rust and blow the vinyl coating.
This is not easy to cut because it is very heavy duty so make sure you prepare yourself for the installation with the proper cutter.
Price
Good value for 300ft, even if not coated.

The black color makes the cable almost disappear to the eye

I got some of this as well as wire that is made from braided black stainless steel wires rather than silver wire in a black sleeve

However if this is nicked and the sleeve starts tearing away i think it could mean replacing the whole cable

As for the strength of the cable it has withstood 50mph winds and some ice load on it which is more than most will ask of it

Im using this for a dog run and to mount my string lights straight as an arrow

The coating has more of a rubbery texture and seems like it will last longer than some of the other dog runs ive purchased locally
