Pros & Cons
Pros
Use tablespoon measure to scoop and press with bottom of tablespoon. Nespresso pods are convex on top because the vacuum but filling these flat will be less leakage of coffee grinds. If you are looking to use a locally roasted bean or your own roasted... Read More
The new version of my-cap makes refilling so easy. These foils are, now, my go to foils for reusing my nespresso pods. This is the third brand of foil caps that i have tried and they are working perfectly.
Cons
Nespresso pods are too thick and wide for the aluminum-capped pod. This causes the machine to make a lot of noise and blows coffee into the mug.
These * things drive me nuts. These caps have an overwhelming disgusting chemical smell right out of the box. Very disappointed, does not stick to cap.
The seals easily peel off the paper. The glue isn't as effective and the foil itself seems more flimsy. Not until all of the foil my-caps once more, have a strong, fail-safe adhesive.
Third purchase of this product, and the quality has deteriorated.

Price
Great purchase, considering the price of espresso!
I like to save money and these are a steal!
A year of ordering capsules was costing $1, 419 a year 😬 refilling myself cost $393 a year.
Although i love my nespresso machine and the coffee, ordering them was becoming pricey.
Packaging/appearance
I cut off the original foil, emptied it, washed & dried and refilled and resealed.
Competitiveness
I tried all the others but these are still by far the best.
It took me 7 different brands to land on this one.
I have tried several other brands, that were too small and would sometimes come off!
I rarely buy new pods anymore, we just refill with mycaps.
