Pros
My 3 year old loves this book. Good for them to read together or with parents to discuss with them. Hard to tell if my 5-year-old nephew liked the book.
Like any encyclopedia it is colorful and informational. Illustrations are wonderful. There is so much information on so many topics, it keeps his mind occupied for hours.
My grandson is 7. It really sprouts a lot of interaction and quality time for the child and adult. They are great for toddlers and adults!
Cons
The book maybe for a ten yr. Old. Why does the section featuring important individuals look like it comes from a western textbook from 1963 or thereabouts? It has limited info on subjects such as travel by air, antarctic, extreme weather and other top... Read More

The pages are a bit thicker than regular paper so while they wont hold up to an unattended toddler they are a little harder to inadvertently tear while flipping pages

It appears that we cant attract children to learning unless information is festooned with wild colors and supercharged action pictures
