I am just as happy with the quality of these new ones vs the ones that cost me waaay more. I use these for bases underneath more holiday themed placemats that have openings in them and are more difficult to clean.

If you put a hot plate of food on it there is always a wet spot under the plate

You cant just wipe it up with a napkin you can still see where the moisture was
