Be sure to wash it by itself the first time there was some color bleed

The only thing that i will say negative compared to a normal cotton towel is that is gets cold when you are finished drying off so hanging around in the wet towel is not a real pleasant experience

It dried quickly and when used on the beach the sand just fell off instead of clinging to the towel
